If we have enabled our referral progam, which we call Canbassador, in your area, you can see the "share invite link and earn" button in you app main view. You can start sharing your personal Canbassador link anywhere you want, and if new Canit users downloads Canit using your link, you will get rewarded automatically and in real time after they complete their first bottle sale.

When you have a Canpaign active in the app, your personal 25% of the deposit value is automatically donated to the cause you’ve chosen.

You will get rewarded automatically and immediately after the person you invited has made first bottle transaction in the app. Notice that there must be some of the "daily budget" left in the Canbassador "Share & Earn" system. The daily budget resets daily.

The person returning the bottles and cans receives the standard 50% share of the deposit value when they return empties to a reverse vending machine.

Canit management reserves the right to change the value of the each reward depending on the current market situation. You can always see the current reward in the Canit app.

The daily budget is the maximum amount of Canbassador fees that we can pay in referral rewards on that day. Canit management reserves the right to adjust the budget depending on the current market situtation.

You can make donations using the methods provided on the organization’s own website. You’ll find a link to their site on this Canpaign page.

Canit management reserves the right to determine and vary the referral fee as we find out what works best for our mutual benefit.

Our partner organizations have valid fundraising permits. You can find more details on their own websites.

It means that we haven't yet enabled that feature in your area, or we have disabled it in our area, or we have disabled that feature from you to use it.

Yes, we currently show amount of downloads that your personal Canbassador link has generated. Remember, that not all downloads convert to a completed sales. We only reward you for new sellers who make their first completed transaction in Canit.

Here are some suggestions for actions you can take to spread the word about Canit and earn more by inviting new sellers:

1. Copy your referral or download link from the app and:

- Share it in any social network. You can for example, take a photo of some empty beverage containers and make a post with your link and perhaps a message: "Did you know that you can outsource returning your empties" or "Never again spend time at reverse vending machines".

- Share it in in an email to your network of people who you know might appreciate not having to do their own bottle returns.

2. Order a PDF flyer via the app from us that we customize for you. You can then make some prints or stickers of it and distribute as you please. Make sure you comply with your local laws and regulations of course.

The Canit app is free and you can list the refundables for sale for free. You will retain 25% of the deposit value for yourself, if you post them for someone to come pick them up. If you want to buy refundables instead, your account will be charged with half of the return value of the refundables you buy. The entire deposit amount when you return the empties to a reverse vending machine or a recycling depot, is yours.

The circles are listings of available refundables posted by sellers who use the Canit app. The price inside the bubble is the amount you need to pay for the bottles.

When you click to open a specific listing, you will see detailed information on the price of the refundables, how many bottles and cans (with different deposit values) are available and how much you will receive when you take the bottles to a reverse vending machine.

You have two options to post a listing: Exact and Estimate.

The exact listing gives the exact amount of cans and bottles you want to sell. You receive 25% of the deposit value when someone buys and picks up your bottles. You don’t need to know the deposit value of individual refundables when you list them.

In the estimate listing, you give the number of cans and bottles as numbers of bags. You will get $1.25 to your Canit account of each bag you have listed when the buyer picks up the bags from you. One bag is a regular-sized grocery bag.

You get your share when the buyer comes to you and both parties accept the trade in the Canit app. Make sure you do this, because it is not possible to transfer the money to your account later!

At the moment, you can only return refundable cans and bottles through the Canit app. Keep the non-refundables separate from the refundables. Of course you can always ask if the buyer is willing to take non-refundable bottles with them. For recycling, it is important to get all aluminum cans properly processed.

You can give the exact amount of cans/bottles in the app. If there are non-refundables in the bag you are selling, you can let the buyer know that you are selling half a bag. In this case, it is fair to tell the buyer that there are non-refundables. This way it will feel fair for both parties.

Your exact address will only be visible to the user you have chosen as the buyer. The user you selected can see your exact address or location in the extra information field.

For other users, your address shows only as a street name and a circle on the Canit map.

Canit is a mobile application for buying and selling refundable cans and bottles.

The Canit application is made for people who want to get rid of their refundables as easily as possible or who want to collect refundable cans and bottles to make some money.
